What Is PLUS?
PLUS is a program of the STOP AIDS
Project.
The PLUS Seminar is a multicultural, educational,
and experiential weekend workshop. PLUS is designed for people who have
recently tested HIV positive, love someone who has, or have been HIV
positive for a while. PLUS is a great place to gather more information
such as when to start medication.
PLUS seeks to empower individuals through
knowledge and emotional support to meet the challenges of being HIV
positive. PLUS is free for all participants.

PLUS occurs quarterly. The next PLUS

It's normal to experience a wide variety
of emotions when you first find out you have been diagnosed with HIV
(human immunodeficiency virus).
One way to deal with these emotions is
to learn as much as you can about the disease. Knowing about HIV and
AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) will help you take the best
care of yourself.
