Special Events / Fundraising volunteers

Do you enjoy party planning and entertaining? Do you like the glamour of gala events? Want to turn dinner out with friends or a night at the bar into a fundraising extravaganza? Help out during a fundraiser for STOP AIDS.  Host an event, manage an event, sell tickets, greet people, hang flyers, make phone calls.  Biggest events are fairs, Dining Out For Life, Bar AIDS and Queens are Wild.

Training Required:
Ambassador Training required for Dining Out for Life and Bar AIDS. Other event training may be provided per event as applicable.

Time Commitment:
Shifts usually range from 2-5 hours depending on the event; volunteers may choose to participate in several events a year or just a single event.

Where:
Locations throughout San Francisco.

What you get:
Great opportunities to meet new people, attend fabulous parties, and see the results of your work almost immediately. Additionally, all STOP AIDS volunteers are invited to special volunteer events throughout the year.

How this Position Helps:
The money raised at fundraising events allows us to continue to provide innovative and targeted programs and services to reach the gay community as new issues arise.
